Olajide Alder is a competent and diligent professional, having diverse experience of over ten (10) years teaching in Nigeria and United Kingdom (UK) having worked in the financial sector. He is experienced in teaching British Curriculum (Cambridge International Examination (CIE) and also CIE Assessment Specialist (Humanities). He had his first bachelor degree in Economics from Lagos State University and second bachelor degree in Education/Curriculum Studies at the University of Lagos. He started his teaching career at Lekki British International High Lagos, before progressing to UK for Master’s Degree in International Finance and Banking. In UK, he worked as part time teacher for two years (2yrs). On returning to Nigeria, he worked in many auditing and investment firms. Due to his his passion for teaching and education, he returned to the classroom as he joined Oxbridge Tutorial College, a Sixth form college as A/level Business Studies, Economics and Accounting teacher. Within a short period he rose to the position of Assistant HOD, Humanities. He contributed immensely to improvement of teaching and learning which impacts on students’ performances in their examination. He has undertaken many professional trainings in Nigeria, the UK, and other parts of Africa. He is a seasoned teacher trainer and motivational speaker, sharing expertise and life experiences to enrich lives of others. As part of his continuous professional development, he is currently studying for a professional Certification in Accounting (ACCA).
